Lexus CT 200h
CT 200h was introduced after six months in European market. It will not only sell in Europe but will be sold all over the world. In April 2010 it was introduced in New York International Auto Show.
Lexus formally brand marked as CT 200h, CT 300h, and CT 400h, but the production of CT 200h was started in the last of December 2010, whereas the sales in US started in the blooming season of March 2011.

The CT 200h is given power by 1.8 liter, four-cylinder petrol engine as used in the Auris and Prius, developing a torque of 73 kW coupled with electric generators in the drive system of hybrid. The expenditure of fuel for the CT 200h is marked at 4.1 l/100 km in Australia.
The CT 200h has different driving styles Normal, Sport, Eco and EV included on other hybrid drive vehicles. Sport style qualifies the throttle and electric power settings of steering, while making the Stability control and traction control less intruding, increasing the CT200h’s performance. EV mode generates zero discharge at the vehicle by using only the vehicles electric motors to drive the vehicle.

The CT 200h is consists of push-button controlling start & stop and sensors that works on touch system, fitted on exterior front-door handles, a stunning leather steering wheel, six-speaker leather audio system which runs with a CD player.
Australian Formula One Grand Prix in Melbourne in 2011, the Lexus CT200h was used in the Celebrity Challenge, an event held as part of the Grand Prix’s weekend attractions. The event patronized by Lexus Australia.

Australian pop superstar Kylie Minogue was invited in United Kingdom to record a TV advertisement for CT 200. The press release of the car will highlight the star Minogue. The latest concert tour of Minogue which is named as Aphrodite World Tour will be sponsored by CT200.
╬ North America:
The calculated fuel consumption of CT 200 in city is 43 miles/ gallon (US) or in other words 100 km in 5.5 L, whereas on the highway, 40 miles/ US gallon (5.9 L/100 km)
When CT200 consume regular 87-octane fuel, Canadian fuel consumption ratings are 4.5 liters/ 100 kilometers in city, but on highway 4.8 liters/ 100 kilometers and 4.6 liters/ 100 kilometers as combined.
╬ Reception:
The Lexus CT200h, together with the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid ranked as the top luxury hybrid editions by the union of related scientists. They said that keeping in view the environment, it is an incredible car which has small gasoline engines. Both the carmakers reduced these vehicles’ engines from six to four cylinders to improve fuel economy as possible.
